What is the Gundaroo Bush Festival?
The Gundaroo Bush Festival has been in existence for more than 10 years, in a number of incarnations -- as a street festival, as a mountain horse racing carnival -- but always as a celebration of the vibrant Gundaroo community.
The festival is run by village volunteers and funds raised are donated to local community groups and charities.
The objectives of the festival are:
- To provide an event with a community focus and an opportunity for the local and regional community to participate, meet each other and have fun.
- To celebrate the unique heritage qualities and community spirit of Gundaroo.
- To raise funds for partner groups and charities and to ensure the continuation of the Festival in future years.
