Over the coming week leading up to the Telstra Gundaroo Bush Festival, on Sunday November 9, organisers will be providing you with a series of Audio News Releases (ANR) from some of the, more colourful characters, involved in this year’s event.
Festival president, Liz Clarke, explains in this ANR what will happen on Sunday
November 9, and what people coming to the festival can expect.
“The first thing people can expect is Gundaroo’s historic Cork Street will be closed from 10:00am on Sunday through until 4:00pm as thousands are expected to visit the township for one of the region’s most famous and popular festivals,” said Gundaroo Bush Festival President, Liz Clarke.
“The next week is shaping up to be incredibly busy. We’ve been planning the event for nearly a year and all of the hard work is set to culminate into a spectacular day on Sunday.”
The Gundaroo Bush Festival is proudly organised by the Gundaroo village community and is non-profit. All proceeds go to local charities.
The Festival has been in existence now for more than 10 years. Every year is different, but the community and Aussie bush spirit, and the sense of fun remain the same.
